Well, with the new year, I've also decided that I need to drop everything from last year. Which means, unfortunately, for the 2983492 people whose birthdays I missed, your birthdays will stay missed. I'll be doing them this year though! _Hopefully...

In other news, my NaNo story has just crested 60, 000 words, and is... maybe... finishing. I'm beginning to realize how crappy it is, though, but I really like it anyway. I read over some bits and they're crazy, but the fact that I wrote them... I dunno. It's alright c:

First off;
MY SUB IS GOOOOONE. It's okay, as soon as I get back to my mum's I'll get her to buy me a new one. (I don't have a credit card, see :3 ) I can pay for it now too, since I have a JOB!

Now; this journal is going to be epic long. SO YEAH. Bwahah.

Recapping... I looked over my last year years journal. I only made one half-resolution, which was:

"So yeah. Resolutions, much? I have lots. But i can't think of them right now. Or maybe i can...

Well, the main one i suppose, is just to do my best at this year. I know its going to be hard, now that most of my friends have left my school, but. I think i'll be okay. Maybe."

EASY PEASY. I ACHIEVED IN FULL!! I'm so much happier than I was last year, so much more on-track and positive. I guess I have to thank all of my wonderful friends; both old and new. Everyone I've met has taught me something new. Some have taught me patience, some have tested that patience.

When I joined devArt it was because I didn't have any friends in real life. Well, I did, but for whatever reason I was feeling immensely lonely. You OL people make me wish I could fold space and time and come visit you. Give you hugs and what-not.

WRITING.
At the start of this year, I began my Harry Potter Fanfiction. /ultimate lame. I can now say that it is the longest thing I've ever written, in both time /and/ wordcount. AND, it's almost finished!
'08 led me to discover that "after someone speaks," she said, "you put a comma, not a full stop."
It also saw me challenge NaNoWriMo! AND WINNNN. This was further proof that I am SO MUCH MORE MATURE, because when I said I'd do something, I did it.
(There's no need to point out that my novel still isn't finished =__= I've been working on it...)

JOB.
This time last year I was working in a fish and chip shop for $7.27 an hour. My boss was evil and he really, really didn't like me.
NOW I'm working in a chinese restaurant for $10 an hour with a boss who is SO much nicer, even if he is a little bit racist and hates children...

PETS.
At the start of this year I had my beautiful baby boy ratties, Yuki and Bo. Unfortunately, cancer and general illness (plus prolly heartache :c ) took my little ratties from me. They were over two years old, though, so they had a good, long life.
And now I have two little baby GIRLS, Heidi and Eva. Heidi is the sweetest thing you will ever see, and has never bitten me. Unlike Eva.
Atm, I also have Julia's rats :3 though hopefully I won't have them for too much longer... :3 (As in she's taking them back soon!)

SCHOOL.
Year ten. Was pretty awesome. Aaaall except MR. Landman and Physics. I enjoyed the rest of it :3
And I look forward to year 11. I like all of my subjects and only wish they hadn't given me so much holiday homework. It's seriously ridiculous, the amount that I have.

All in all, since last year I've come an awfully long way. I still have a way to go, but I'm not crawling anymore. I have feets and comfy new shoes (figuratively, I mean. I need some new shoes. And some new jeans). I also have a Kyo-hat. Literally.

NOW FOR MY RESOLUTIONS FOR THIS YEAR.
I'll be doing it properly this time :3 lolll.
1. To get fit. Half an hour every second day or something.
2. To sleep like a normal human.
3. To finish my NaNo novel
4. To finish my Fanfiction
5. To write my Manga.

A couple of them I can't write out here (eg. 6. have a baby) (AM KIDDING. AM KIDDING) but they are my main goals for the new year.
AND I WILL ACHIEVE THEM ALL! c:

I hope everyone else is able to look at the new year with a sense of optimism, and that 2009 holds wonderful experiences!
